Dear Supporter of Camp GuilRock:

We at Camp GuilRock are blessed to be a part of a growing and thriving outdoor Christian ministry here in the southern portion of Rockingham County.  Our camp board of directors has recently approved a plan to grow our camp opportunities and ministries by beginning construction, and finishing construction, on a new kitchen and bathrooms adjacent to our Wesley Pavilion. The existing Wesley Pavilion has been renovated and enclosed, and air conditioning and heating has been added to allow Wesley Pavilion to be used year-round.  This building makes it possible for Camp GuilRock to host groups like Carolina Cross Connection (we recently have secured our first “college week” with CCC, which will happen the 3^rd and 4^th weeks in May, 2011 due to this new building!), host community dinners and events, host various civic and church groups that need a large meeting room and food service, and host a variety of other groups that would like a large meeting room and the comfort of an enclosed structure.

As Executive Director of Camp GuilRock,  I write to you today to consider joining me in donating $1000.00 toward this project.  The total cost for this project is around $150,000.00, and a loan has been secured through Home Savings Bank in Reidsville.  We believe with your help, much of this debt can be erased soon.  The camp has already deposited in the bank over $20,000.00 specifically for this project, and we are  paying this loan back now.  If we have 150 people/organizations commit to $1000.00 each, this debt can be erased immediately. 

Please prayerfully consider this donation and commitment to Camp GuilRock.  You are invited at any time to come and see this AWESOME building, recently re-named the WESLEY FELLOWSHIP CENTER.  We truly believe God has greater plans for this district camp, and look forward to what the future holds.
