Busy Summer

This has been a great summer thus far with multiple swim groups, residential camps, day camps, and family reunions. By the end of the summer over 3000 people will have visited our campus. Check out our facebook (just type in camp guilrock) for pictures, events, etc. Blessings!!!

Golf Tournament at PLANTATION -JULY 30

GuilRock will host their 2nd annual golf tournament at Plantation Golf Course,190 Club House Drive in Reidsville on Saturday, July 30th. We need hole sponsors, teams (cost is $40.00 per person or $160.00 for a team of 4), volunteers, give aways, etc! Carolina Cross Connection certainly blessed our community and our camp with their presence last week. God has guided this service ministry over the years, and we were truly blessed to host them this year. Thanks to CCC for touching lives and hearts in Rockingham and Guilford counties in 2011! Blessings to all who made this week possible – especially Amanda, Leanne, Mary Heather, Kash, and Megan!

We are surely blessed to have the folks from CCC at GuilRock this week. They are doing great work in the area! Their leaders are fantastic as they “adapt” to camp life and its ever changing moments. Kash’s meals are AWESOME and keeping everyone sustained. Thanks to all who made this week possible; mostly thanks to God for guidance and vision.

A new Chapter at GuilRock

Today the staff from the college Caroliona Cross Connection come to GuilRock. Next week, the campers will be here for a week’s stay. This begins a “new” chapter in the GuilRock story, and we are blessed! Please pray for CCC and its work in Rockingham and Guilford counties. Christian servanthoood will be lived out over the next few weeks! God’s blessings are AWEESOME!!

Today we are meeting with the leadership team from the College CCC group that will be at out camp in a couple of weeks. We are blessed to host CCC this year, and hope this is the beginning of many more years together! Pray for CCC and its impact on Rockingham/Guilford counties!
